Description: Feeling the pressure of creating and delivering defensible, practical, flexible, and sustainable AT services in your district? You are not alone! Keri understands as she spent over 25 years in public schools serving an exceptionally large district with only a small AT team. As a team lead, she helped to create, adapt, and grow an AT service delivery program that effectively met the needs of students, staff, and families despite a large geographical area and high number of students. She has also presented to and consulted with thousands of professionals across the country to build and improve their AT programs.  

This workshop is designed to be an immersive, interactive experience to allow participants to actively identify barriers in their agencies, solve problems to meet their unique needs, and plan for improved outcomes. The presentation will outline specific strategies to help AT providers ensure efficient systems of referral, utilize effective and practical models of assessment based on needs, engage IEP team members in shared decision making, bolster implementation, demonstrate accountability, build site capacity, and create defensible, sustainable AT services for the long term.  

Networking, collaboration, video, case studies, and practice with strategies will be utilized throughout the session and participants will leave with resources to use immediately!

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations must be received in writing by Closing The Gap on or before October 1, 2024. Replacements are welcome and must also be submitted in writing.

Cancellation fees:

  • $200 for each 1-day pre-conference workshop
  • $300 for each 2-day pre-conference workshop
  • $100 for each single-day conference registration
  • $250 for each full conference registration. Applicable to standard rate, Solutions member rate, presenter/exhibitor rate and conference registration and membership combo rate.

No refunds will be issued after October 1, 2024. Unpaid balances are due in full.

If for any reason beyond Closing The Gap’s control, Closing The Gap determines that the in-person conference must be cancelled, attendees understand and agree that their registration type shall be changed to a virtual registration. Closing The Gap is not responsible for any additional conference expenses, including hotel, travel, etc.
