Description

Feeling the pressure of delivering defensible and efficient AT services in your district? You are not alone! Keri understands as she spent over 25 years in public schools serving a very large district with only a small AT team. As a team lead, she helped to create, adapt, and sustain an AT service delivery program that effectively met the needs of students, staff, and families despite a large geographical area and high number of students. This presentation will focus on key strategies to develop an AT service delivery model that will save you time, serve students effectively, and boost site capacity. Specific AT program elements addressed will include creating customized procedures, defined roles for the AT specialist, assessment, differentiated referral systems (e.g., high/low incidence), systems of follow up, training and technical assistance, and documentation. Numerous adaptable resources will be provided.
