Description

Given the advancements in and increased access to technology, a wide variety of AAC solutions are available. There is a need for quality therapeutic support for students who need access to powerful core vocabulary. AAC Language Lab is a tool used by many AAC practitioners to assess, plan for and provide AAC interventions. The website has recently been updated adding increased content and further usability. This multi-disciplinary panel will discuss and demonstrate how a wide range of therapeutic supports from the site are implemented throughout classrooms in a core vocabulary based unit school district serving students aged 3-22. Participants will leave with a multitude of ideas for providing effective and streamlined AAC support students at all language development levels.
