The transition from K-12 to Postsecondary Education is becoming more essential to a successful start to college. However, for many students, AT is not considered in the transition process. As a result of the emphasis on transition and assistive technology, tools have been created to support this process. The Toolkit for Transition, a new online tool to track AT use in K-12 and submit to higher education schools, and the Quality Indicators for Assistive Technology (QIAT) will be showcased in this session. Both tools can help support, guide and reinforce the transition process from K-12 to higher education. Bring your own technology.
