Description

The differences between K-12 and post-secondary education for students is abundant, including the assistive technology that is used and available. This session will address the most common tools found once students get to college and how they are used to access the curriculum. Attendees of this session will learn about technology and assistive technology in higher education, as well as see ten of the most common assistive technology tools used to support students with disabilities. Tool functionality and practical use examples will be addressed through demonstration for those working with students in high school or transitioning to college.
