Experience
Sarah K. Smith, M.Ed, is the Manager of Training for the Illinois Autism Partnership (IAP). She has a longtime record of success in designing curriculum for and working with individuals with autism and related disabilities. She has worked in both private and public school settings, serving in roles including school administrator, special education teacher, and educational consultant. She has extensive experience in leadership, supervision, coaching, specialized curriculum, program development, and data analysis. Smith has developed evidence-based autism programs in public school districts across the country, with an emphasis on independence, functional communication, and community integration.
Smith received her M.Ed. in special education from Rutgers University and later completed the School Leadership/Principal Certification program from The University of Pennsylvania.
