Come join us for a full day of hands on exploration in the Chrome Literacy Support Lab! Literacy is a human right and all our students deserve to learn to read and write. With technology more infused in the classroom than ever before, we have even greater opportunities to match the features of our Chrome based tools to the needs of every student.
During this Bring Your Own/Hands On session, Kelly and Mike will take you through supports for reading and writing. Come learn how your Google Tools (G Suite apps & Chrome apps/extensions) that are in Chromebooks and the Chrome Browser can be applied to literacy learning and support students in their reading and writing needs in the classroom and homework. Be ready to actively participate in several extension “smack downs” in which you can share your favorite Chrome Extension or App! Make sure you come with a Chrome enabled device (Chromebook, PC, Mac) and know your Google password!
