Speech & Language Songs

Speech and Language Songs creates speech therapy songs that help children communicate more effectively. These songs are written, performed, and recorded by a certified Speech-Language Pathologist, Stephen Kneece, MA, CCC-SLP. A new song is posted to YouTube every Monday at 5:00pm EST. They create songs in the following categories:

  1. Articulation
  2. Core Vocabulary
  3. Parody
  4. Personalized

These songs are specifically designed to be incorporated in speech therapy, in special education classrooms, in general education classrooms, and by parents for carry-over practice.

Parody

This is a parody song describing “core vocabulary”. The original is “What’s Love Got To Do With It” by Tina Turner. It’s a bit silly while still providing some great information. I hope this provides a fun way for SLPs, SLPAs, Teachers, Special Education Teachers, Parents, etc. to understand “core vocabulary” a little better.

The team at Speech and Language Songs also creates “Personalized” songs! Have you ever wanted your child/student to have their very own song/video? Well, now is your chance! After providing Speech and Language Songs with the name of a few of your child’s favorite things, the team will get to work on creating a song/video that is as uniques as your child/student. You can even include your own photos to make it even more personalized! A private link will be provided with the video, so that you can watch it anytime, anywhere, and on any device.
