Bridget Burns

Experience

Bridget graduated from Binghamton University and worked in public schools in self-contained classrooms for three years. From there she also worked on socialization and adaptation within the community for adults on the autism spectrum. Three years ago she started to work at iHope, a school for students with traumatic brain injuries where she is currently a special education teacher. AAC is readily available for all students and incorporated into each lesson and life skill that's taught. This school and this work has inspired her to continue her education in this field.
