In this hands-on session, discover creative, practical ways to use LessonPix to build supports that truly work for your diverse learners. Explore hidden gems and advanced tools for neurodiversity-affirming visuals, custom symbols, accessible supports for students with low vision or CVI, interactive digital activities, and personalized communication boards. You’ll also learn simple design strategies that improve visual clarity, reduce cognitive load, and save valuable prep time. Walk away with fresh ideas and ready-to-use strategies for creating supports that are not just attractive, but meaningful, efficient, and classroom- or therapy-ready.
Learning Outcomes:
As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:
• Identify at least 3 templates that can be used to create neurodiversity affirming visual supports
• Generate custom images in 3 different ways (Re-Color and Customize tool, Symbol Builder Tool, Photos)
• Create at least one resource to be printed and at least one resource to be used digitally
