Train the Trainer and Teach the Teachers: AAC implementation strategies for ALL team members

Communication devices are becoming more and more prevalent in our K-12 public schools. As more students are obtaining devices, adults must be trained in supporting the implementation and use of those devices. Teachers, support staff, Paraeducators, and especially Parents are all important team members in supporting device use. This presentation focuses on five main strategies to increase student learning/use of devices. 1.
