Description

This engaging webinar explores bilingual AAC solutions designed to support communication through robust language systems and motor planning strategies. This webinar will examine the distinctions between monolingual and bilingual language development, debunk common myths surrounding bilingual AAC use, and clarify the difference between language translation and true language systems. Using bilingual Minspeak® options such as LAMP Words for Life (WFL) and Unidad, we’ll demonstrate how these tools support consistent access to vocabulary across languages.

Discover how evidence-based approaches promote language development and motor automaticity for AAC users, and leave equipped to make more informed system selections—whether you’re supporting Spanish-English speakers or other bilingual individuals.

Cindy Halloran, Director, Center for AAC & Autism.

Debbie Witkowski, Training & Implementation Specialist, PRC-Saltillo.
