Join us for an insightful presentation on Adaptive Gaming! We will explore how to customize video gaming experiences for players with physical, sensory, and/or cognitive disabilities, including an overview of modified hardware and in-game settings. Our team will also discuss factors to consider during assessments and list resources available at the local and national levels. Come see how we strive to enhance independence, inclusion, and overall well-being for people with disabilities through the power of gaming!

Learning Outcomes:

As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:

• Describe at least 2 benefits of gaming for individuals with disabilities.

• Name at least 3 pieces of hardware or accessibility features that can enhance an individual's ability to access video games.

• Identify at least 2 potential resources available to provide consultation or funding support for adapted gaming.
