Description:

This session introduces participants to practical, accessible ways to integrate AI into inclusive classrooms. Participants will explore AI tools that support reading, writing, and math instruction, while also addressing the unique needs of students with visual and hearing impairments and those who use AAC devices. Through demonstrations and real-world classroom examples, attendees will leave with knowledge of inclusive AI tools and strategies aligned with best practices.

Learning Outcomes:

As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:

• Identify at least three AI tools that support inclusive instruction in reading, writing, or mathematics.

• Describe how AI can be used to support students with vision or hearing loss and students using AAC devices.

• Identify how to adapt AI tools to align with individualized education program (IEP) goals and accessibility needs of students with disabilities.
