This session will showcase its ability to render images and multiline Braille in real-time, enhancing learning, work, and personal experiences. This session explores the Tactile Curriculum” partnership with Oxford University and broad screen reader compatibility, highlighting its potential to boost independence and quality of life for persons who are blind or low vision.
Learning Outcomes:
As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:
• Upon completion of this session, attendees will be able to describe the purpose for tactile literacy alongside Braille literacy and its implications for personalized learning.
• Upon completion of this session, attendees will be able to describe the Dot Pad X's comprehensive compatibility with major operating systems and screen readers (Windows/NVDA/JAWS, MacOS/VoiceOver, iOS/iPadOS/VoiceOver).
