Jade White

Experience

Jade is an AT specialist at Region 4. She works with districts and charter schools across the Region, providing AT team training and support through technical assistance requests and open labs. Before joining Region 4, Jade spent her educational career in Clear Creek ISD. Jade began her career in CCISD, providing resource and inclusion support and teaching 5th-grade language arts and social studies. She ended her time with the district on the Assistive Technology Support Team as an instructional specialist for learning technology. In this role, she coached general education teachers in implementing AT for students with high-incidence disabilities. She also liaised between the special education and technology departments to build capacity across the district on accessible educational materials and universally designed learning practices. Jade is passionate about literacy, blended learning, and providing support and access through a tiered technology approach.
