Experience
Janet Peters is the Kansas Infinitec Project Director. In that role, she leads the High Quality Instruction within Inclusive Learning Environments project, which is a statewide inclusion initiative funded by the Kansas Department of Education with AT, UDL, and Co-Teaching strands. She was most recently the Project Director for the Center on Inclusive Technology & Education Systems (CITES) at CAST. In that role, she worked with district teams across the nation to help build the capacity of schools to improve their collaboration and efficacy of Assistive Technology (AT) and Educational Technology (EdTech) systems. Janet was also the Project Coordinator for Assistive and Educational Technology for the Great Lakes ADA Center, where her focus was website accessibility, assistive technology in post-secondary settings, and effective assistive technology skills for transition-aged youth with disabilities. Early in her career, Janet was the Project Director of the Simon Technology Center at PAC
