Experience
Judith Schoonover, MEd, OTR/L, ATP, FAOTA is an occupational therapist and former elementary school teacher. She is certified as an assistive technology professional (ATP) by RESNA and is a founding member of the Loudoun County Public Schools Assistive Technology Team. Judith has worked in schools for more than 45 years. Judith is passionate about all things related to occupational therapy, assistive technology, and PARTICIPATION. She has presented at local, state and national conferences on topics relating to school-based occupational therapy, transition, universal design for learning, literacy, and assistive technology nationally (both live and virtually); and has served as adjunct faculty to Shenandoah University and George Mason University. She is especially interested in creating low tech solutions when appropriate.
