Experience
Kelly Stewart Nace, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She is part of a U.S. Department of Special Education grant aimed to prepare SLPs as academic leaders in the areas of language and literacy. Her research focuses on improving literacy outcomes for students with complex communication needs who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). She aims to inform evidence-based practices that support the communication and literacy development of all learners.
