Experience

Lisa is a nationally recognized pediatric occupational therapist with more than 30 years of experience spanning early intervention, outpatient clinics, schools, and pediatric skilled nursing care. She currently serves as the Assistive Technology Facilitator at Exceptional Learners Collaborative in Vernon Hills, IL, where she leverages her OT background and passion for AT to guide best practices across the district. In this role, she provides leadership in training, assessments, and coaching, with specialized expertise in AAC, UDL, and access solutions that foster communication, independence, and equitable learning opportunities. Lisa is dedicated to empowering students, mentoring educators, and advancing the integration of assistive technology to maximize participation for all learners.
