Melynda Kaifes

Experience

Melynda Kaifes is a retired educator from Kansas with 34 years of experience in the field of education. She spent 15 years as a special education teacher at both the elementary and middle school levels with the last 17 years of her career in public education as an Instructional Specialist working with teachers across all grade levels mentoring and supporting effective student programming, with a strong emphasis on inclusive practices for all. Currently, Melynda is continuing her work with districts across the state of Kansas as a High Quality Instruction Trainer and Project Facilitator with Infinitec’s High Quality Instruction through Inclusive Learning Environments (HQIILE). Melynda holds a bachelor's degree in elementary and special education and a master's degree in curriculum and instruction. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a passion for fostering both teacher growth and student success. Outside of her professional life, Melynda keeps busy reading and listening to podcasts as well as being the proud mother of five adult children.
