Experience

Nathanael is an educator, advocate, and father of children with special needs. He began advocacy work early alongside his parent in nonprofit spaces. Much of his teaching experience is in special education, where he learned from the disabilities community and continues to grow in American Sign Language and Deaf culture. At the Nevada Center for Excellence in Disabilities (NCED), University of Nevada, Reno, he serves as Associate Project Coordinator for the Nevada Special Education Technology Assistance Project, supporting PreK–12 schools statewide with assistive technology assessments, educator coaching, trainings, and consultations. He holds a BA in Business Administration, an MA in Strategic Leadership, and certifications in Behavior Intervention. Nathanael is active in Nevada Black Deaf Advocates and Las Vegas Deaf Seniors, contributing through media, PR, and social outreach. He engages in town halls, legislative hearings, and community events, preferring supportive roles.
