Experience

Raine Sims, M.Ed., is an Assistive Technology Specialist with the ATLAS Project at Easterseals Crossroads. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Washington and her M.Ed. in Special Education from Lehigh University. Raine has worked in research labs focused on special education and postsecondary education for students with autism and has presented her work at conferences across the United States and internationally. Prior to her work with the ATLAS Project, Raine worked in research and taught in self-contained classrooms serving students with emotional and behavioral disabilities. Since the inception of the ATLAS Project in 2024, Raine has provided assistive technology services to support students with varied needs across the state of Indiana. In her free time, she enjoys pottery, reading, and gardening.
