Experience

Sandy Czernik earned her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1994. She went on to receive a Certificate in Assistive Technology from California State University, Dominguez Hills in 2004, and later completed a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology from the American College of Education in 2013. Sandy is a seasoned presenter at both national and international conferences, as well as within school districts, sharing her expertise on topics such as capacity building, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), sensory and fine motor development, and assistive technology. She currently serves as the Lead Assistive Technology Specialist for Naperville Community Unit School District 203, where she is employed full time and receives a salary.
