Sara King

Experience

Sara King, M.S.P. CCC-SLP has an undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Florida, and a Master’s of Speech-Language Pathology from the University of South Carolina. She started her career as a traveling therapist, where she had a variety of experiences in multiple settings. After traveling, she worked as an outpatient therapist at Texas Children’s Hospital for 5 years, where she fell in love with AAC. She then moved to Clear Creek Independent School District, where she was the Assistive Technology Lead, and supported students and teachers to provide meaningful access to education. Currently, she serves as an Education Specialist for Assistive Technology at Region 4 Education Service Center. She continues to provide professional development and support in all areas of assistive technology.
