With over a decade of experience in education, I've dedicated myself to empowering students with complex learning needs to learn and grow. I spent the first ten years of my career as a self-contained special education teacher. Transitioning into a role as an Instructional Coach after many impactful years in the classroom, I embraced the opportunity to extend my influence beyond individual students to support educators in their professional growth. As a co-leader of a successful school-wide literacy curriculum rollout, I facilitated training sessions and provided coaching support to ensure successful implementation, thereby enhancing student engagement and achievement across the board. Currently serving as a District Coach in general education buildings, my focus remains on supporting students with complex learning needs.
