Beth Waite-Lafever

Experience

Beth Waite-Lafever, M.A., CCC-SLP, ATP, has a Bachelors and Masters in speech-language pathology and is an ASHA certified speech-language pathologist. She has over 35 years of experience working with individuals using AAC. Beth has worked in outpatient rehabilitation, public schools, private practice, taught university courses and presented on AAC at the national and international level. She developed one of the first programs to provide AAC evaluations/therapy in Indiana while employed with the Central Indiana Easter Seals Society. During her 19 years in public school, she provided speech-language services to students with complex communication needs using AAC strategies and served as the Assistive Technology Coordinator and AAC Specialist for several school districts. As a Training and Implementation Specialist for PRC-Saltillo, Beth creates resources, eLearning courses, literacy materials, and runs the AAC Coaching Corner program supporting AAC users, their families, and teams.
