Experience

Dr. Tiffanie Zaugg is a scholar and practitioner in exceptional education, specializing in assistive technology, artificial intelligence in education, and inclusive instructional design. She earned her Ph.D. in Exceptional Education from the University of Central Florida and currently serves as a postdoctoral researcher and consultant on federally funded initiatives, including OSEP’s Project RAISE. Dr. Zaugg is the creator of the EL chatbot, designed to support educators in implementing research and evidence-based strategies, assistive technology, and Universal Design for Learning. Her extensive experience includes leadership roles in state education agencies, technology innovation, and teacher preparation. A frequent speaker at national conferences and published author in journals such as the Journal of Special Education Leadership and Journal of Special Education Preparation, Dr. Zaugg continues to drive transformative change at the intersection of technology and inclusive education.
