Experience

Sarah Wakabayashi is a speech language pathologist and an assistive technology consultant for the Boston Public Schools. She has over 29 years of experience working with students with complex communication needs. Ms. Wakabayashi is part of the team that developed the Carter School Cognitively Demanding Task Matrix, a tool to create explicit instructional programs for students with multiple challenges. She has presented at conferences including Closing the Gap, ATIA, and ASHA, as well as webinars for NHAT Connect and Building Wings, Inc. Ms. Wakabayashi has also been a short-term faculty member at Emerson College.
