Fiona M. Higgins, MS CCC-SLP, is a PhD student in the department of Hearing and Speech Sciences at Vanderbilt University. Her research interests include language access and intervention in children with complex communication needs. She previously worked as a speech-language pathologist in Tennessee public schools and in private practice.
