Experience

Wendi McMillan is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist with 33 years of experience. Wendi has had the privilege of working as an SLP in a variety of settings, including private practice and public schools with all ages. She has specialized training in the areas of augmentative communication and works mainly children with rare diseases. Wendi is also the co-founder of Camp REACH, a summer camp in North Carolina for children and young adults with Augmentative Communication needs. She is the past president and Honors Recipient of the NC Augmentative Communication Association. She has presented on various AAC topics at both the state and national level. She truly loves what she does and loves to share the joy of AAC with others.
