Description:

Join a panel of new researchers in the field of blindness and low vision as they discuss current projects, emerging trends, and future directions in research and practice. This session will highlight evidence-based findings and opportunities for collaboration across education, rehabilitation, technology, and policy. Attendees will gain a broad view of ongoing work and its implications for accessibility and inclusion, as well as have an opportunity to suggest research that needs to be done to equip their own future work.

Learning Outcomes:

As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:

• Identify one key research finding.

• Discuss how a research finding affects their area of practice.

• Generate at least one research question to be answered in the future.
