Description:
Ever wanted to learn to solder but were too afraid to try? We want to show you how easy it is to make your own AT solutions and join the new generation of AT makers. In this hour-long hands-on workshop, you will learn how to adapt and build custom switches. Come roll up your sleeves, make mistakes, and have lots of fun learning with us and leave with the AT solutions that you built. Space is limited.
Learning Outcomes:
As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:
• Identify and discuss the benefits of limitations of creating custom AT solutions such as adaptive switches from readily available materials.
• Create a wiring plan to create a new or modify an existing object into an adaptive switch.
• Use a soldering iron to create an adaptive switch following step by step directions.
