Tammy Bruegger is an Assistant Professor in Occupational Therapy at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri, a RESNA certified Assistive Technology Practitioner, Special Educator and Occupational Therapist in Kansas City, Mo. for over 40 years. She has worked in a variety of settings with children and adults who have visual impairment and other complex, neurological conditions. Tammy has authored numerous articles and book chapters on occupational therapy with children who have visual impairment, coping and resilience, health literacy and assistive technology/universal design.
