Description:

Participants will be introduced to the Summerbell Reading Method, a visual, arc-based reading system created by a person with dyslexia to support others with similar challenges. The session will begin with an overview of the method and the lived experience behind its creation, followed by a short discovery video. Attendees will learn how the method works, including the core concept of positional arc reading. A summary of the statistically significant findings from a Johns Hopkins University evaluation will be shared. The session will include demonstrations of the Summerbell Chrome extension, mobile app, and website. Participants will leave with a clear understanding of how the method can support visual dyslexics and how to access and implement the tools in their own learning environments.
