Ken Hackbarth is the president and founder of Volksswitch LLC, an organization dedicated to democratizing assistive technology through the practical application of 3D printing. He brings nearly three decades of experience as a systems architect at AT&T Bell Laboratories and its successor organizations, where he specialized in designing scalable, reliable technical systems. Ken holds a Master of Science in Evolutionary Biology and a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Arizona, as well as a Master of Education in Special Education with a concentration in Assistive Technology from Bowling Green State University. His work bridges engineering, education, and clinical practice to support sustainable, real-world assistive technology solutions.
