Description:
The OATECA core system was created to support the learning and development of individuals with significant disabilities. From comprehensive assessments to systematic data collection, the system provides the tools and scope-and-sequence necessary for progressive mastery of 160 functional skills. Assessment and Curriculum Activities are ‘turn-key’ for those with significant Disabilities.
Learning Outcomes:
As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:
• After this presentation, participants will understand the benefits of using an ipsative assessment to demonstrate progress for students with significant disabilities.
• After this presentation, participants can track daily data for students with significant disabilities using the data sheets presented.
• After this presentation, participants will learn several effective instructional practices for educating students with significant disabilities, regardless of age.
