Description:

Naperville School District has successfully implemented Everway’s assistive technology tools for a decade, serving 16,000 students. Led by Lead AT Specialist Sandy Czernik, this journey involved scaling Read&Write, OrbitNote, and Equatio to ensure universal access. This session explores the strategic planning and cross-departmental collaboration required to transform a UDL vision into district-wide reality. We will detail the roadmap for acquiring these literacy and math resources while highlighting tangible benefits, including improved reading scores, writing stamina, and robust MTSS supports. Participants will gain a replicable blueprint for fostering inclusivity and scaling accessibility solutions. Join us to discover practical steps for bringing equitable learning tools to all learners, regardless of where you are in your UDL journey.

Learning Outcomes:

• As a result of this activity, participants will be able to articulate to their district leaders the emotional and educational benefits to struggling students when UDL Assistive Technology programs are successfully deployed to all students.
