Experience

Haley Brunelle is the Family Engagement in Research (FER) Coordinator at Gillette Children’s, where she helps integrate lived experience into research design, implementation, and dissemination. Bringing a unique lens as both a former marketing professional and the parent of a child with a rare genetic condition and medical complexity, Haley is skilled at connecting people, translating perspectives, and helping organizations better understand and respond to family needs. Haley is the 2025 recipient of PACER's Paula F Goldberg Champion for Children with Disabilities award and co-hosts a podcast called Rarely Familiar. Her work centers on building meaningful partnerships between clinicians, researchers, and Lived Experience Partners so research is more relevant, inclusive, and impactful. With guidance and mentorship from a Blueprint team of seasoned professionals in Healthcare, Gillette’s FER program has grown into a formalized model that is strengthening research culture and outcomes.
