Experience

Jane Keegan Quarles, SLP, specializes in assessing and treating individuals with complex communication disorders. In her 20 + years at SLCH, she has focused on the advancement of the augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) program and initiatives to position our AAC program to be a regional leader in the field of AAC. In 2011, she championed a sense of urgency for patient-provider communication and led an interdisciplinary taskforce, sanctioned by Shared Leadership, to advance the establishment of an inpatient AAC presence at SLCH. She also authored the Empower Communication Board published by Attainment Co., 2017.
