Experience

Kathy Kramer is a Physical Therapist with decades of experience in assistive technology for adults and children. She has consulted in elementary and secondary school settings, facilities serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and a preschool for the visually impaired. Now, as a volunteer Testing Program Coordinator for EchoBridge Inc., Kathy brings both clinical expertise and deeply personal experience to her role. She is also the full-time caregiver and grandmother to 8-year-old Maddie, a non-verbal child with visual impairment who became TheOrator's very first user and continues to lead real-world testing of the application. Kathy's dual perspective as clinician and family member shapes her empathetic approach to supporting beta testing families and ensuring TheOrator meets real-world communication needs.
