Sara is an Occupational Therapist and has worked as an Assistive Technology Specialist at Special School District of St. Louis County for 20 years. She has worked in various settings including hospitals, schools, and outpatient clinics. Sara has a special interest in using 3D printing to create customized assistive technology tools to support student access. She supports students from early childhood through 21 years old. Sara collaborates with school teams to identify, implement, and integrate assistive technology tools to reduce or eliminate barriers, access the curriculum, and demonstrate knowledge. She provides district-wide professional development focusing on integrating assistive technology into occupational therapy, adaptive physical education and the classroom.
