Experience

Sarah Kinsella is a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) passionate about supporting students with complex communication and learning needs through Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). She holds a Master’s degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences and has nearly 18 years of experience supporting children (birth–21), families, and educators across Washington State. She currently works for the Special Education Technology Center (since 2015), where she provides technical assistance, training, and co-hosts the Awe and Wonder AAC & AT Podcast. Her background includes 11 years as a public school SLP, including 6 years as a district Assistive Technology (AT) Specialist, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support diverse AAC and AT needs. Sarah is deeply committed to her field and grateful to support the communication journeys of students and families.
