Experience

Meg Rauter has been teaching in the Hamilton School District for 21 years across elementary, middle, high school, and transition levels. Her current caseload is composed of students in grades 9-12 with significant/mulitple disabilities and communication needs. Meg co-teaches Communication Arts 9 and 10 as well as teaches self-contained sections of Life/Vocational Skills and Functional English for students assessed mainly on the Essential Elements. A main goal of hers is to promote advocacy to ensure students' success across all inclusive environments. Meg is especially passionate about AAC and giving all students a voice in their education.
