Alan Vu, MA, CCC-SLP, is the Founder and CEO of Flexspeak, an AAC and educational technology company. A licensed speech-language pathologist, Alan spent years as a school-based SLP managing caseloads of students with complex communication needs across culturally and linguistically diverse communities — an experience that revealed a critical gap: most AAC tools were built primarily for English-speaking users, leaving multilingual communicators underserved. He founded Flexspeak to close that gap, building an AAC platform that supports 30+ languages with AI-powered vocabulary customization and symbol localization. Flexspeak now serves school districts, healthcare organizations, and private practices across the world. Alan brings a combination of clinical expertise, product development experience, and lived perspective as a Vietnamese-American bilingual person who stutters to his work in AAC.
