Experience

Erin Wagner is an Assistive Technology Facilitator in Huntley, IL District 158. She is currently leading the charge for her district of 8,000 students to audit existing curriculum and bring digital content into compliance with the new ADA Title II accessibility mandates. While she has been in the AT world for the last 5 years, she was previously a special educator in a self contained classroom and therapeutic Day School. Although she is passionate about working with all student populations, Erin has a particular love for partnering with staff to help them unlock the full literacy potential of students with complex needs. She has a special passion for accessibility and considers herself a self-proclaimed Writing Cheerleader. Erin has presented on digital accessibility at local and regional conferences and seminars, and is a returning presenter at Closing the Gap.
