Helena’s presentation will focus on Genio Notes, a tool that has supported students with disabilities to help improve their note taking ability. Helena will provide information about this software product and answer any questions that arise from delegates.
Experience
With over two decades of experience in assistive technology, Helena has built a career dedicated to supporting learners through practical and innovative solutions. She began her journey as an Assistive Technology Trainer, later progressing to Team Leader, where she developed strong technical expertise and communication skills. In 2015, Helena joined Genio, where she continues to apply her knowledge and passion for accessibility. In her current role, Helena provides support and guidance on Genio’s products to Needs Assessors, Assistive Technology Specialists, and Disability Practitioners across the UK, Ireland, the US, and Canada. She is committed to promoting accessibility and best practices within the education, Access to Work, and disability support sectors.
