Holding a Master’s degree in Education and a graduate certificate in Assistive Technology, she is passionate about using assistive technology (AAC and AT) to remove academic barriers, support engagement in content, and build meaningful skills. Kim is dedicated to integrating augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and assistive technology (AT) into writing instruction to strengthen literacy and communication skills—foundational competencies for academic success and lifelong functional independence. She values rigorous, evidence-based practice and equips educators and therapists with practical, classroom-ready strategies.
