Experience

Jan Rogers, MS, OTR/L, ATP is currently a consultant with a focus on assistive technologies and accessible educational materials. Prior to this she was the Program Director of the Assistive Technology & Accessible Educational Materials (AT&AEM) Center at OCALI which included oversight and development of the statewide AT lending library and accessible materials production center, administration of several federal grant projects around braille and AT, and development and oversight of the ATIM and the SIFTS projects. She has taught AT courses at the Ohio State University and Bowling Green State University and was a frequent presenter at local, state, and national conferences. She has been a contributing author for books and journal articles on the topic of AT. For the last three years she has been involved with grant projects at OCALI’s Center for the Young Child focused on early childhood assistive technology resources and supports, and adapted book supports and strategies for children.
