Description:
Attendees will explore a series of mounting applications by discussing individuals’ goals and circumstances. We’ll look at the positioning and access for a variety of devices and activities, including voice and communication, educational materials, work accommodations, and gaming. The exploration includes mounting on a variety of locations including wheelchairs, strollers, tables/desks, and floor stands.
Learning Outcomes:
As a result of this activity, participants will be able to:
• Compose three assessment questions when considering a mount.
• Identify features of mounting systems.
• Compare and choose wheelchair attachment hardware for varying equipment configurations and user goals.
